Needlework Patterns

I learned to crochet in grade school. A couple of ladies would come toschool and teach whoever wanted to learn. My first project was a vest inrainbow varigated knitting worsted. My second project was a better vest inred, white and blue knitting worsted. I was hooked.

Learning to knit didn't come as easy. My grand aunt tried to teach me but mytension was too tight. Eventually I found a book that "unraveled" the mystery.

I love to imitate objects in yarn. I've been influenced by Annie's Attic andLeisure Arts. It's fun to sculpt novelty items, but I don't much care formaking the same thing over and over. I'd rather share my patterns and let you have fun creating them for yourself.

Aside from offering free patterns for needlework online I'll be sharing ideas and instructions for other crafts as well. Keep checking back and have fun.

Here are some crochet patterns to start with.
