Materials:Worsted weight yarn, approx.:2 oz chocolate brown5 yds whiteSize H (5.0mm) crochet hook Chocolate Make 2 Row 1: With brown ch 32, dc in fourth ch from hook, dc in each ch across, ch 3, turn – 30 dc Row 2: Dc in next st and each st across, ch 3, turn – 30 dc Row 3: Dec, dc in next 24 sts, dec, dc in ch 3, ch 3, turn – 28 dc Row 4: Dec, dc in next 22 sts, dec, dc in ch 3, ch 3, turn – 26 dc Row 5: Dec, dc in next 20 sts, dec, dc in ch 3, ch 3, turn – 24 dc Row 6: Dec twice, dc in next 3 sts, dec, dc in next 3 sts, dec twice, dc in ch 3, ch 3, turn – 20 dc Row 7: Dec twice, dc in next 3 sts, dec, dc in next 3 sts, dec twice, dc in ch 3, ch 3, turn – 15 dc Row 8: Dec 3 times, dc in next st, dec 3 times, dc in ch 3, ch 3, turn – 9 dc Row 9: Dec, dc in next 3 sts, dec, dc in ch 3, ch 3, turn – 7 sts Rows 10-13: Dc in each st across, dc in ch 3, ch 3, turn – 7 sts Row 14: Dec, dc I next st, dec,m dc in ch 3, finish off – 5 sts Finishing With wrong sides tog and stitching through both loops of both pieces, join front and back, at a lower corner, with brown, by working sc in each at across bottom, two sc in each dc up side, increasing as necessary to keep piece lying flat.
